Presentation in the airport for check in and boarding with destination Delhi.

 

10th OF AUGUST ARRIVAL TO DELHI

Arrival to Delhi and relocation to the hotel . Lunch and dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

 

11th OF AUGUST DELHI-DHARAMSHALA

Breakfast in the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to fly to DHARAMSHALA.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Lunch in the hotel.
Located in the valley of Kangra. In this place established the exiliated Govern of Tibet since 1960 and it is the place of residence of Dalai Lama as well as several tibetans that arrive here. This is why the city is called “little Lhasa” with reference to the Tibetan capital. Dinner and accomodation.

 

12th OF AUGUST DHARAMSHALA

Breakfast in the hotel. Visit of the following places during the tour:

 

  • Temple of Tsuglagkhang,
  • Instituto Norbulingka,
  • Temple de Bhgsunag
  • Dharamkot
  • Tsechokling Gompa

13th OF AUGUST, DHARAMSHALA

Breakfast in the hotel. Day free. Accomodation.

 

14th OF AUGUST DHARAMSHALA – AMRITSAR ROAD TRIP 210 KMS 5 HOURS

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will travel to Amritsar by bus. We will make a stop in Punjabiyat,
breakfast in Punjabiyat. Continue to Amritsar. Arrival and accomodation in the hotel.
Amritsar, which means “Nectar Pond of Immortality”, it is the capital of the Sij religión since XVI century. A shining marble monument, bronze and golden leaf, a living example of sij architecture (this religion preaches unity and equality for all religions), the Golden Temple is very fascinating, stimulating and spiritual, which combines physical beauty with a truly sacred ambient. In the night we will assist to the prayer ceremony in the Golden Temple. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

 

15th OF AUGUST AMRITSAR

Breakfast in the hotel.
We will have a walk in the old area of Amritsar: the six historic gates fo Amritsar: Lahori Gate, Hakiman Gate, Hathi Gate, Gandhi Gate, Khazana Gate y Sultanwind Gate,
Afterwards, visit to the Golden Temple of the Sikhs, located in the heart of the city. Lunch and dinner in the hotel. Accomodation.

 

16th OF AUGUST AMRITSAR–VARANASI

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will go to the airport to take a flight to Varanasi via Delhi. Arrival to Varanasi. Assistance and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will go to the banks of Ganges river to witness the ceremony of Aarty along the Ghats of the sacred river. We will have the opportunity to see some indu temples located on the banks of Ganges river. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accomodation in the hotel.

 

17th OF AUGUST VARANASI / SARNATH / VARANASI

Very early in the morning we will go to the Ghats to descend the Ganges before the sun rising where we will witness from a boat to the purifying rituals and have a spectacular view of the Palaces and Temples of Varanasi. We will walk through the old city in front of the Aurangzeb mosque. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Lunch in the hotel. In the afternoon we will go to Sarnath, one of the most important buddhist centres in the world.

 

18th OF AUGUST VARANASI – DELHI – JAIPUR

Breakfast in the hotel.

At the scheduled time we will go to the airport to take a flight to Delhi. Arrival and  move to Jaipur. Dinner in a restaurant. Arrival, accomodation and dinner in the hotel.

19th OF AUGUST JAIPUR

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, trip to Amber Fort, rising with elefants to Fort Amber or with jeeps (depending on the availability of the elefants). Lunch in the local restaurant.
After lunch we will visit the city: City Palace, and a stop to take some pictures to Hawa Mahal known as well as the Winds Palace. Built to allow the royal woman to watch processions unseen. We will also visit the Astronomical Observatory. Dinner and accomodation in the hotel.

 

20th OF AUGUST JAIPUR / AGRA ROAD TRIP 235 KMS/5 ½ HOURS

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will travel to Agra in a road trip. Along the way we will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the desert redsand stone city built by the emperor Akbar as his capital. Afterwards we will have lunch in an hotel and we will continue towards Agra. Accomodation in the hotel.

21st OF AUGUST AGRA

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will visit the Taj Mahal, -love symbol- built by the Mogol emperor  Shahjahan in XVII century, and afterwards we will visit Agra Fort. Lunch in a local restaurant and visit to the ONG of Mother Teresa. Return to the hotel.

 

22nd OF AUGUST AGRA – DELHI ROAD TRIP 204 KMS/ 4 HOURS DELHI-KATHMANDU

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will go to Delhi airport. Arrival and boarding with destination  Katmandu. Arrival and accomodation in the hotel.

Kathmandu valley, the capital and heart of the country, symbolizes the essence of whole  Nepal. Having lived under different royal dynasties, the cultura and society of Kathmandu have evolved through time giving them a unique characteristic. Nowadays it is a city with its own ancient myths and, at the same time, it witnesses the greatness of people who have lived in it during centuries, a melting pot of everything that is from Nepal. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

23rd OF AUGUST KATHMANDU

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning, tour of the city of Kathmandu and Swoyambhunath.

We will visit the Durbar square, one of the three, inside the Valley of Kathmandu, that are World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. It’s easy to become overwhelmed due to the countless monuments of Durbar square in Kathmandu.

Located on the top of an hill in the southeast part of Kathmandu, Swayambhunath stupa is associated with the birth of the valley of Kathmandu civilization. It is generally believed that when the valley was still an ancient lake, a predecessor of Siddhartha Gautama, Buddha, planted a lotus seed and therefore brought light of Swayambhnath – the one who was born from himself. Bodhisattva Manjushree drained the lake cutting a ravine in the southern side of the valley from which flows the river Bagmati towards Southbound and established the civilization of Kathmandu valley.

Lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit to Patan. This city is located over a plateau which spreads over the Bagmati river, in the south of Kathmandu. Famous as a fine arts centre and for the superb handicrafts, Patan is also known, as Lalitpur, “the beautiful city”. It is essentially Buddhist, and it was established in the III centure b.C. Dinner and accomodation in the hotel.

 

24th of August, KATHMANDU

Breakfast in the hotel.
During the day we will visit the following places: Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva , Bodnath – One of the bigger Stupas of the world… Bhaktapur also known as the “City of Culture”.

Lunch in a local restaurant.
Dinner and accomodation in the hotel.

 

25th of August KATHMANDU – LHASA

Breakfast in the hotel.
We will go to the airport to fly to Tibet. Arrival and transfer to the city of Lhasa (45 Mins/65Kms). Arrival and register in the hotel. Rest of the day free. Lunch and dinner in a local restaurant. Accomodation in the hotel.

26th of August, LHASA

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning we will visit Jokhang temple, Barkhor market and Sera monastery, depending on local conditions.

 

27th of August, LHASA

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will visit Potala Palace and Drepung monastery. Depending on local conditions.

Drepung monastery, the biggest of the tibetan monasteries. In its greatness days it was considered the biggest of the world, capable of housing around 7000 monks. Now they are less, but they still continue their monastic traditions although the strict control of the chinese authorities.
Potala Palace: also known as the “Winter Palace”. Lunch and dinner in a local restaurant. Accomodation in the hotel.

 

28th of August, LHASA/KATHMANDU

Breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning we will go to the airport to fly to Kathmandu. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Lunch in a local restaurant. Rest of the day free. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

 

29th of August KATHMANDU – DELHI

Breakfast in the hotel. At the scheduled time we will go to the airport to take a flight to Delhi. Arrival to Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accomodation in the hotel.

 

30th of August DELHI / SPAIN

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the international airport to take the flight home.
